Bivouac Camping – Under the Stars

Experience the most authentic way to sleep in Wadi Rum Calm — under the open desert sky, beside a glowing fire, with nothing between you and the stars.

This style of wild camping is often included in our multi-day hiking adventures, but it’s also available as a private overnight option for those who wish to fully connect with the silence and beauty of the desert.

What to Expect

You’ll camp in a quiet, remote area of Wadi Rum Calm, far from any tourist camps. The exact location depends on the season, weather, and the route of your chosen tour. To explore the options, visit our 2-Day Hiking Tours or Full-Day Hiking Tours pages.

Your Bedouin guide will handle everything for a peaceful night:

  • A warm, fire-cooked Bedouin dinner

  • Simple bedding setup with mattresses and blankets

  • Bottled water for drinking

  • Jerry cans of water for washing hands and face

Evenings are spent around the fire, sharing stories, sipping tea, and drifting to sleep under a sky full of stars.
